Hey! I'm Vamshi, an AI Safety researcher interning at CHAI@UC Berkeley under the guidance of Dr. Stuart Russell and Benjamin Plaut. I am currently a Bachelors+Masters student at IIIT Hyderabad, where I am an active member of the Precog Research Group, advised by Dr. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru.

I like working on problems with heavy social impact. I am currently working on problems in AI Safety, with particular interests in making AI systems more robust and interpretable to make them reliable and trustworthy, enabling successful deployment in the real world.
